- • As an Enterprise Account Executive at Astronomer, you will drive revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities with enterprise clients, directly contributing to the expansion of Astronomer’s customer base and the adoption of its industry-leading Astro platform powered by Apache Airflow®.
- • You will own the full sales cycle from initial prospecting through negotiation and close, leveraging strategic outreach, tailored solution positioning, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver value to data-driven organizations seeking to unlock AI and analytics potential.
- • You will partner closely with marketing, sales engineering, and product teams to ensure seamless handoffs, align on messaging, and support long-term customer success, fostering a collaborative culture where knowledge sharing and collective wins are prioritized.
- • You will stay ahead of industry trends and competitive landscapes to effectively position Astro as the premier DataOps solution, particularly for technical buyers and data teams, while refining your approach based on market feedback and customer insights.
- • Through this role, you will develop deep expertise in enterprise SaaS sales, data infrastructure technologies, and complex solution selling, while building a track record of quota attainment in a high-growth, innovative environment that values accountability, perseverance, and proactive initiative.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in SaaS, data platforms, or cloud solutions
- • 2+ years of field experience with in-person customer engagement
- • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding new business quotas in high-growth environments
- • Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce) and sales enablement platforms
- • Excellent communication skills with ability to build trust and influence senior stakeholders
- • Experience selling to data teams, developers, or technical buyers is a strong plus
