• • Serve as a Revenue Business Solutions Analyst specializing in Epic Grand Central & Prelude systems to analyze, configure, and optimize revenue cycle workflows.
• • Formulate business scope and objectives through research, fact-finding, and deep understanding of healthcare revenue cycle requirements and industry standards.
• • Perform functional analysis, requirements definition, and application module configuration including setup of configuration tables, transaction/control tables, and data mapping.
• • Identify, analyze, and resolve gaps in business processes related to revenue cycle operations and system functionality.
• • Develop functional specifications and conduct prototypes to validate proposed solutions before implementation.
• • Support security and authorization setup, user documentation, data interface design, data migration, and data reconciliation activities.
• • Perform light programming tasks in appropriate languages to develop workarounds and automate processes where needed.
• • Collaborate with project managers to define tasks, create teamwork plans, and provide accurate estimates for assigned project work.
• • Proactively identify issues affecting project progress and recommend practical, system-based solutions.
• • Interact independently with customer subject matter experts to gather requirements, provide feedback, and address system functionality concerns.
• • Conduct effective meetings and deliver basic presentations to stakeholders across clinical and administrative teams.
• • Ensure accountability for customer needs by resolving issues directly or facilitating warm handoffs per established SLAs and internal processes.
• • Maintain a thorough understanding of how system configurations impact key performance indicators in revenue cycle management.
• • Demonstrate dedication to continuous improvement by evaluating current processes and proposing enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• • Support installation, tuning, modification, and archiving of data as required for system optimization and compliance.
• • Apply critical thinking and systematic approaches to diagnose root causes of operational problems and implement sustainable resolutions.
