- • The Field Service Engineer role at Agilent Technologies is critical to ensuring customer satisfaction and operational continuity by delivering expert on-site support for complex analytical instrumentation systems.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include installing, optimizing, maintaining, and repairing Agilent HPLC, GC, and software systems, as well as multi-vendor hardware, software, and networking solutions at customer sites.
- • The engineer diagnoses and resolves performance issues, performs preventive maintenance, advises customers on configurations to avoid downtime, and proactively addresses potential equipment or software problems.
- • Acting as a technical liaison, the role collaborates with internal teams including Support, Sales, Marketing, and R&D to escalate and resolve issues, deliver training, and qualify leads, while adhering to strict customer site access and safety requirements.
- • Based in Vapi with 75% travel, this role offers deep hands-on experience with Agilent’s core analytical technologies and opportunities to grow into a trusted technical advisor and mentor for junior field engineers or customers.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent in a technical field
- • 4-5 years of hands-on experience with Agilent HPLC, GC, and associated software systems
- • Willingness to travel 75% of the time and comply with customer site credentialing, safety, and identification requirements
