• • As our AI Orchestration Specialist, you will be the foremost expert in leveraging and advancing AI orchestration capabilities, particularly with Claude Code. Your primary focus will be deep experimentation with Claude Code, mastering its advanced features like skills, subagents, tools, and hooks. You will identify, develop, and document reusable AI patterns that will form the backbone of our platform's architecture. Your work will directly shape our core orchestration strategy, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency. This role demands a proactive, experimental mindset, pushing the boundaries of what's currently possible with AI orchestration and translating those discoveries into tangible, production-ready solutions.
• • Your responsibilities will span multiple critical areas. Firstly, you will achieve Claude Code Mastery by dedicating significant time to hands-on experimentation. This involves understanding the nuances of each feature—skills for task delegation, subagents for complex reasoning chains, tools for external data access, and hooks for dynamic control flow. You'll not only learn how to use them but also understand the strategic trade-offs and optimal use cases for each. Documenting these learnings and sharing them with the team and potentially with Anthropic will be crucial for collective growth and establishing best practices.
• • Secondly, you will be instrumental in building and refining our Orchestrator Architecture. You will conceptualize and implement AI orchestrators as Remote Procedure Calls (RPC) for real-time decisioning, ensuring they are robust, performant, and easily integrated. This includes designing for critical aspects such as low latency, comprehensive error handling, effective observability, and rigorous testing within AI systems. Your architectural decisions will establish patterns that the entire 1Sphere platform will adopt, ensuring consistency and accelerating development across the board.
• • Thirdly, you will cultivate an Experimentation Culture within the team. This involves constantly testing the boundaries of Claude Code, exploring its capabilities, and discovering novel applications. You will be tasked with creating reusable orchestration patterns and templates that significantly accelerate our platform development and client solution deployment. Being at the frontier of AI orchestration means embracing ambiguity, driving innovation, and proactively identifying opportunities for advancement.
• • Your first 90 days will be intensely focused on establishing your expertise and delivering initial value. You will become the team's go-to expert on Claude Code through extensive hands-on experimentation. You will build 3-5 production orchestrators, showcasing a variety of patterns (e.g., skills vs. subagents vs. tools vs. hooks) to demonstrate practical application. You will also create a foundational orchestration playbook, detailing when to use specific patterns, supported by working examples and clear decision trees. Weekly presentations to the team will share your discoveries and insights about AI orchestration, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
