📋 Description

• Design and implement multi-file coding tasks focused on bug resolution, feature implementation, refactoring, and migration in production-grade systems using Python and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Write clear, precise natural-language specifications and reference implementations that accurately define expected behavior and technical requirements for software tasks
• Develop, extend, and maintain comprehensive unit and integration test suites using pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing frameworks to validate code correctness and edge case handling
• Review peer-generated coding tasks for correctness, clarity, realism, and alignment with production standards, identifying ambiguities, logical flaws, and potential failure modes
• Ensure strict consistency between task specifications, reference implementations, and expected outputs across all components of assigned software engineering challenges
• Navigate and analyze large, complex multi-file codebases to diagnose issues, propose improvements, and validate the integrity of code changes
• Participate in structured code review processes, providing actionable, detailed feedback on peer submissions to uphold quality and educational standards
• Contribute to the creation of realistic, industry-relevant software engineering evaluation scenarios used for assessing technical proficiency in AI-driven environments
• Perform production migrations and refactoring tasks that require deep understanding of system architecture and dependency management
• Maintain high standards of code quality through proactive refactoring, adherence to best practices, and rigorous testing
• Work independently on a project-based schedule with full autonomy over time allocation, while delivering consistent, high-quality outputs within defined project scopes
• Collaborate remotely with a global team of software engineers and AI researchers to refine evaluation methodologies and task design criteria
• Operate without direct supervision, demonstrating self-management and accountability in delivering project milestones on time and to specification
• Utilize personal tools and development environments to complete all assigned tasks, ensuring compatibility with required platforms and frameworks
• Maintain professional written proficiency in English to produce accurate, well-structured documentation and feedback for international stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience
• Advanced professional written proficiency in English
• Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Backend or full-stack development experience in production systems
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, Go testing)
• Proven ability to debug and navigate large, multi-file codebases
