Full Stack Software Engineer - Red Hat Discovery (Remote, Brazil)

📋 Description

• • The Full Stack Software Engineer will join Red Hat’s Discovery team in Brazil to build and maintain open source tools that enable system discovery, inspection, and reporting for secure, disconnected IT environments—critical for customers operating in air-gapped or highly regulated settings.
• • Day to day, the engineer will design, develop, and maintain new features across the full stack including backend services (Python), CLI, web UI (React/PatternFly), installer, and test automation; improve integrations between components; contribute to automated testing; review code; and collaborate with a global, distributed team using agile practices.
• • The Discovery team is a collaborative, globally distributed group focused on delivering reliable, secure software for complex IT infrastructures, leveraging open source principles and valuing psychological safety, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
• • In this role, the engineer will deepen expertise in full stack development, gain experience with enterprise-grade open source projects, contribute to meaningful customer-facing tools, and grow skills in modern DevOps, containerization, and AI-adjacent technologies while working in a culture that values innovation, inclusion, and technical excellence.
