📋 Description

• Design, develop, and ship end-to-end features for internal-facing applications using React and TypeScript as the primary stack, ensuring high performance, usability, and maintainability.
• Own features from concept to production, including backend integration when necessary, by writing APIs, services, or debugging infrastructure issues in strongly typed languages like Go.
• Translate high-level business goals into actionable technical plans with minimal supervision, prioritizing impact over technical output and aligning delivery with product and business metrics.
• Make informed trade-offs between technical complexity, time-to-market, user impact, and long-term maintainability while maintaining a strong focus on delivering real-world value.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to bridge business requirements with technical implementation, ensuring clarity and alignment across stakeholders.
• Advocate for clear problem definitions and purpose-driven development, challenging ambiguity and keeping the team focused on the most valuable problems.
• Contribute to and elevate team engineering standards by mentoring peers, reviewing code, and promoting best practices in frontend architecture, state management, and component design.
• Utilize AI coding tools as part of the daily development workflow and actively explore how AI can enhance productivity, code quality, and innovation in engineering processes.
• Engage with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable, scalable deployments and operational stability of internal tools.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, translating complex technical concepts into accessible insights for cross-functional teams.
• Maintain a product-aware mindset, making decisions grounded in user impact, business outcomes, and technical sustainability rather than purely technical preferences.
• Participate in quarterly team meetups and annual company retreats, committing to being in-office twice per week at either the Berlin or The Hague location.
• Play an active role in shaping the engineering culture of a fast-growing cybersecurity scale-up by fostering collaboration, curiosity, and high standards across the team.
• Build applications that directly enable teams to protect organizations across Europe from cyber threats, ensuring reliability and scalability at enterprise scale.
• Embrace ambiguity and independently solve complex problems in dynamic environments with evolving requirements and priorities.
• Maintain fluency in English for seamless communication across a distributed, international team.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of development experience with strong emphasis on React and TypeScript
• Backend exposure in a strongly typed language (Go, Java, .NET, PHP, or similar)
• Proven ability to take initiative and deliver in ambiguous environments
• Knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD practices
• Fluency in English
• Comfortable using AI coding tools in daily development workflow
