📋 Description

• As a Full-Stack Software Engineer within Hopper Technology Solutions (HTS), you will architect the travel commerce engines powering rapid expansion into APAC markets, building localized world-class travel portals for major financial institutions and consumer brands, directly impacting how millions of users in the region experience travel.
• You will design and operate full-stack solutions and APIs optimized for high-scale B2B commerce partnerships across APAC, collaborate with product and engineering teams to localize portal features, leverage LLMs and AI tooling to generate production-grade code, develop and maintain gRPC and REST-based microservices for real-time travel inventory and fintech ancillaries, work autonomously to resolve complex technical challenges, and iterate quickly on engineering improvements to enhance scalability and performance of B2B travel ecosystems.
• You will join a high-velocity team adapting Hopper’s market-leading fintech and e-commerce stacks to meet specific regulatory and consumer demands of the world’s fastest-growing travel market, working within a company that powers travel for hundreds of millions globally and has evolved into a leading travel fintech provider, commerce platform, and global travel agency serving major brands like Capital One, Nubank, Air Canada, and CommBank.
• You will gain deep expertise in building scalable, localized e-commerce systems using React, TypeScript, Scala, and distributed systems, apply AI-driven development workflows with LLMs, master cloud-native practices on GCP, and contribute to high-impact features under tight commercial deadlines while advancing your technical agility in complex, unfamiliar codebases.

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience with React and TypeScript for building highly localized, performant web interfaces in complex e-commerce environments
• Proficiency in Scala and distributed systems or a strong desire to apply functional programming to large-scale backend architectures
• Hands-on knowledge of GCP and cloud-native practices, particularly in managing latency and data residency requirements for international partnerships
• Adeptness with AI-driven workflows, including using LLMs for development and implementing agentic AI systems to enhance partner support
• Strong technical agility and ability to fearlessly navigate unknown codebases to deliver high-impact features under tight commercial deadlines
• Commercial mindset focused on regional product-market fit and understanding unique user behaviors in APAC digital ecosystems
