Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Own the end-to-end analysis and week-to-week optimization of key acquisition channels for U.S. personal loans, identifying performance strengths and improvement opportunities, then designing and implementing strategies to drive growth.
  • • Design, execute, and analyze price testing strategies to uncover insights on loan volume and credit quality, using results to iteratively improve the competitive positioning of the U.S. Loans product.
  • • Drive volume allocation decisions across acquisition channels by evaluating growth potential, credit quality, and win probability, ensuring accurate forecasting of origination volume and making high-impact changes to meet business targets.
  • • Formulate and prioritize commercial hypotheses to uncover high-value growth opportunities, leveraging diverse internal datasets and external sources to validate assumptions and inform strategic decisions.
  • • Conduct hands-on data analysis using SQL and analytics tooling to extract insights, generate recommendations, and drive action—actively pulling and manipulating data rather than relying on pre-built dashboards.
  • • Collaborate closely with a Senior Growth Manager to translate complex data findings into clear, actionable business strategies that directly impact acquisition efficiency and loan origination volume.
  • • Monitor and evaluate the performance of direct marketing channels, including but not limited to direct mail and cross-sell initiatives, to identify optimization levers and improve ROI.
  • • Apply a strategic mindset to translate analytical outputs into business decisions that balance growth targets with credit quality and profitability constraints.
  • • Demonstrate intellectual curiosity by actively seeking to understand all aspects of the U.S. consumer credit business, including underwriting, pricing, channel performance, and customer behavior.
  • • Challenge assumptions and the status quo through relentless curiosity, proposing novel approaches to growth and continuously testing new hypotheses to improve outcomes.
  • • Work within a small, fast-paced, high-autonomy team focused on solving problems with data-driven innovation rather than following conventional marketing or lending practices.
  • • Contribute to building best-in-class fintech technology in-house by using data, machine learning, and AI to automate insights and reduce reliance on manual processes.
  • • Take full ownership of analysis projects from ideation through implementation, with direct accountability for business impact and results.
  • • Engage with cross-functional teams to align growth initiatives with broader company goals, ensuring data-driven decisions support scalable, sustainable growth in the U.S. market.
  • • Utilize analytical rigor to ensure that all growth strategies are grounded in empirical evidence, with clear metrics for success and well-documented experimentation frameworks.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Strong hands-on analytics experience with the ability to pull and manipulate data independently using SQL
  • • Strategic mindset with proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business decisions
  • • Relentless curiosity and willingness to challenge assumptions and the status quo
  • • Experience driving analysis-backed business decisions in the U.S. personal loans market (desirable)
  • • Experience optimizing direct marketing channels such as direct mail or cross-sell (desirable)
  • • Experience working at or with a major U.S. financial affiliate (e.g., Credit Karma) (desirable)
