📋 Description
- • This is a hands-on CTO / Founding Engineer role at an early-stage AI-powered fundraising platform startup, where you will be the primary technical leader responsible for building the core product from the ground up. You will not only define the technology strategy but also actively code, architect, and ship features across the full stack, directly impacting the company’s ability to connect startups with investors through intelligent matching and workflow automation.
- • Your work will directly enable founders to identify the right investors, secure warm introductions, and manage fundraising end-to-end using AI-driven recommendations — making a tangible difference in how early-stage companies access capital in a competitive, fast-moving market.
- • Day to day, you will own the end-to-end architecture and technical strategy of the platform, making critical decisions on tech stack, tooling, and system design while ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
- • You will build and ship core product features across the full stack, including user-facing interfaces for startups, investors, and partners, as well as backend services that power the platform’s core functionality.
- • You will design and implement AI-powered matching and recommendation systems, leveraging machine learning to improve the accuracy and relevance of investor-founder connections based on behavioral, contextual, and historical data.
- • You will define and optimize scoring, ranking, and data models that underpin the platform’s matching engine, continuously refining them to increase match quality and conversion rates.
- • You will maintain and improve the existing product and infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, and ensuring system reliability under growing load.
- • You will lead cloud infrastructure and DevOps on AWS, managing deployments, scaling strategies, monitoring, and automation to support a resilient, production-grade environment.
- • You will collaborate closely with the founders on product direction and roadmap, translating business goals into technical plans and ensuring alignment between engineering execution and company vision.
- • As the company scales, you will gradually build and mentor the engineering team, establishing engineering culture, hiring practices, and technical standards that support long-term growth.
- • You will work in a fully remote, EMEA-timezone-aligned environment with flexible hours, allowing you to contribute effectively while maintaining autonomy and work-life balance.

🎯 Requirements
- • 3–5+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong preference for startup experience
- • Proven experience as a CTO, Founding Engineer, or senior full-stack/AI engineer in a scaling startup
- • Strong full-stack development skills (frontend + backend) with hands-on experience building and shipping production systems
- • Solid experience building and integrating AI/ML-powered features, particularly recommendation or matching systems
- • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and DevOps practices, including deployments, scaling, and reliability engineering
