Head of Devops

📋 Description

• • As Head of DevOps at Sweed AB, you will own and transform the reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of our infrastructure at scale, directly supporting our mission to build an all-in-one cannabis retail platform that improves access to medicinal cannabis while driving operational excellence.
• • You will define and execute infrastructure strategy, lead and grow a DevOps team of 6-8 people, improve incident management and reliability practices, evolve CI/CD pipelines and observability tooling, and drive key projects including Kubernetes migration, PostgreSQL modernization, and multi-cloud cost optimization.
• • Sweed is a product-driven company with 200+ employees globally, reimagining cannabis retail through an integrated platform of POS, eCommerce, Marketing, Analytics, and Inventory Management, operating in a complex regulatory environment where reliability and trust are paramount.
• • In this role, you will develop leadership expertise in scaling infrastructure, deepen your hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies (AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform), and drive measurable improvements in system reliability, cost efficiency, and team performance while shaping engineering culture across distributed product teams.
