Head of Engineering

📋 Description

• • As Head of Engineering at Bjak Sdn. Bhd., you will lead engineering efforts across global teams in the US, China, and Europe, ensuring efficient execution of projects while maintaining high technical standards and driving product excellence in a fast-moving, flat organization.
• • You will structure engineering workstreams, unblock teams, maintain development velocity, translate product and technical strategy into actionable plans, and ensure systems are built scalably and maintainably through active participation in architecture decisions and code reviews.
• • You will join a highly motivated, hands-on team focused on building superior application platforms, starting with Southeast Asia’s leading insurance platform serving over 8 million users, now expanding into AI-integrated emerging use cases.
• • In this role, you will build and scale a strong engineering team by recruiting top talent, establishing rigorous hiring processes, and fostering cross-functional collaboration with product, research, and leadership to resolve technical and organizational bottlenecks.
