- • As Head of Engineering at Bjak Sdn. Bhd., you will lead engineering efforts across global teams in China, the US, and Europe, driving technical excellence and execution in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment focused on building superior application platforms with AI integration.
- • You will structure engineering workstreams, unblock teams, maintain development velocity, and ensure high standards in software delivery while translating product and technical strategy into actionable plans.
- • You will contribute to key architectural decisions, support engineers in evaluating design trade-offs, and ensure systems are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with long-term technical vision.
- • You will build and scale a high-performing engineering team by recruiting top talent, establishing rigorous hiring practices, and fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement across distributed teams.
- • You will work closely with product, research, and leadership to resolve technical and organizational bottlenecks, ensuring alignment and efficient execution across geographies and disciplines.
- • You will operate in a flat, high-trust organization where hands-on leadership is expected, code and design reviews are standard, and rapid iteration is valued over bureaucracy.
- • You will help advance Bjak’s mission of creating efficient, impactful software solutions that serve over 8 million users in Southeast Asia and expand into new AI-driven use cases.
