📋 Description

• As Head of EPD Systems & AI Transformation at Vanta, you will lead a strategic initiative to reinvent how the Engineering, Product, and Design organization operates at scale by designing and implementing an AI-native operating system that eliminates manual work, automates coordination, and accelerates feedback loops—treating product development itself as a product to be continuously improved.
• You will define and execute a multi-quarter roadmap to transform EPD through automation and agentic workflows, leading and growing a small team of operations managers and builders while serving as a strategic partner to the CPO and EPD Leadership Team to surface systemic risks, drive interventions, and align efforts with DevEx and other teams without duplicating mandates.
• You will design end-to-end information flows across core systems (roadmap, customer feedback, research artifacts, Slack) to reduce time spent on data reconciliation and increase time spent on building, while automating status reporting with team and executive rollups that highlight changes, risks, and decisions needed.
• You will build AI agents that help teams get answers, produce drafts, and trigger workflow actions in real time, as well as system agents that run continuously to reconcile data, detect changes, maintain tool hygiene, and reduce drift—establishing rigorous evaluation practices with success metrics, test harnesses, phased rollouts, and rapid iteration based on adoption and quality.
• You will transform customer and GTM feedback loops by ingesting and synthesizing feedback at scale, clustering themes, mapping signals to roadmap areas, and producing decision-ready evidence, while partnering with GTM to ensure feedback is structured, traceable, and actionable, and creating practical guardrails for AI workflows around privacy, data handling, reliability, auditability, and human-in-the-loop expectations in partnership with Security and IT.

• In this role, you will develop deep expertise in agentic workflows, systems thinking, and cross-functional leadership, gaining the ability to design and improve complex operational systems as a technical product manager or engineering leader, while sharpening your skills in data-oriented decision-making, iterative improvement loops, and aligning incentives across EPD and GTM to drive measurable outcomes.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading and growing a team
• Proven experience delivering agents and automation in practice, including reliability, drift evaluation, and rollout strategies that build trust
• Background in Product Management, Engineering Management, or Product Operations with experience designing end-to-end systems that integrate tooling, process, and data
• Strong systems thinking and ability to model work flows across functions to identify root causes and redesign mechanisms
• Ability to partner effectively with engineering, product, design, data, and GTM teams without needing to be the primary coder
• Data-oriented mindset with instincts for instrumentation and decision-quality metrics, comfortable operating in ambiguity with a bias toward shipping and learning quickly
