- • The Health Plan Data Analyst II is responsible for extracting, analyzing, reporting, tracking and monitoring provider data across business functions, systems and interfaces, playing a critical role in ensuring data quality and supporting network development initiatives.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include participating in the Health Partner Lifecycle (HPLC) team to support provider data operations, performing disruption analysis for assigned markets, assimilating complex data into meaningful formats, developing database structures and reports, writing SQL queries for data retrieval and validation, and acting as a Subject Matter Expert for provider data impacts on downstream processes.
- • The role is part of the HPLC team at CareSource Management Group Company, a healthcare organization focused on managing health plans and provider networks, where the analyst supports both existing operations and new market implementations through data-driven insights and project coordination.
- • In this role, the individual will develop advanced SQL and data analysis skills, gain expertise in the Facets data model and healthcare provider data systems, lead performance improvement initiatives, coordinate cross-functional activities, and prepare NCQA documentation—building expertise that supports career growth in healthcare data analytics and project management.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience
- • Minimum of three (3) years of data analysis or experience in a health care setting
- • Experience with Cognizant Facets Provider application
- • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word skills
- • Proficient in data analysis and use of analytics/reporting tools such as Power BI
- • Demonstrated SQL capabilities
