  • • The HEOR Intern, Real-World Evidence role supports Precision Medicine Group’s mission to advance healthcare through data-driven insights by assisting in the design, execution, and communication of real-world evidence studies that inform clinical, regulatory, and market access decisions.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting literature reviews, supporting protocol development and data programming for RWE studies, developing interactive summaries and visualizations of findings, interpreting and communicating results to internal and external stakeholders, contributing to reports and manuscripts, and providing administrative support for ongoing research projects.
  • • The intern will work closely with Precision leadership and cross-functional teams in a remote, collaborative environment focused on improving internal processes, refining research tools, and enhancing adherence to best practices in epidemiologic and health economics research.
  • • This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in real-world evidence methodology, strengthen technical skills in statistical programming and data visualization, develop scientific communication abilities, and contribute to meaningful healthcare research that impacts patient outcomes and healthcare decision-making.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Enrolled in a public health (epidemiology, biostatistics, bioinformatics), economics, data science, life sciences, or healthcare-related undergraduate or preferably graduate program
  • • Proven interest in public health, life sciences, or pharmaceutical research and analytics
  • • Research experience in epidemiology, public health, health services research, health policy, economics, or related fields
  • • Foundational knowledge of epidemiologic concepts including observational study designs, measures of association, and sources of bias and confounding
  • • Familiarity or competency with statistical programming tools such as R, SQL, SAS, or similar platforms
  • • Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team
  • • Detail-oriented with exceptional interpersonal and time management skills
  • • Keen interest in learning and sharing knowledge
  • • Strong academic record
  • • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
