đź“‹ Description

  • • As an Implementation Engineer at Neara Inc., you will play a critical role in transforming raw utility and geospatial data into high-accuracy digital twin models of electricity networks, directly enabling the company’s mission to stress-test power grids against extreme weather and structural risks using AI-driven physics simulations. Your work will support the deployment of Neara’s platform to utility customers across Europe, contributing to a more resilient global energy future by helping asset owners identify vulnerabilities, optimise investments, and prevent outages before they occur.
  • • You will ingest and manipulate massive datasets including LiDAR, GIS, and asset databases using Neara’s proprietary schema language and configuration framework to build engineering-grade digital twins that reflect real-world physics with precision. This involves close collaboration with Customer Success Managers to serve as a technical point of contact for utility engineers and stakeholders, managing relationships throughout deployment lifecycles while ensuring clear, fluent communication of complex technical configurations.
  • • You will perform rigorous QA/QC procedures to validate that digital twin models accurately mirror real-world infrastructure and meet customer specifications, identifying and resolving data discrepancies through systematic reconfiguration to achieve 100% model accuracy. Additionally, you will build custom reports and dashboards within the Neara platform to transform complex simulation outputs into actionable insights for utility engineers, enabling data-driven decision-making for grid resilience and maintenance planning.
  • • You will work closely with Product and Engineering teams to provide frontline feedback on deployment processes and tooling, directly influencing product improvements and automation opportunities that speed up future implementations across the customer base.
  • • Joining Neara’s Customer Success Team in London, you will become part of a mission-driven culture of brilliant, innovative thinkers who are fanatical about applying AI and machine learning to solve real-world infrastructure challenges. The team values ownership, creativity, and technical excellence, operating in a hybrid, flexible environment that encourages collaboration and continuous learning.
  • • In this role, you will develop expert-level proficiency in Neara’s engineering-grade 3D modeling environment and gain deep exposure to cutting-edge Digital Twin technology, positioning yourself at the forefront of a rapidly scaling industry. You will have the opportunity to influence the product roadmap, contribute to internal knowledge bases and external documentation, and grow your expertise in geospatial data integration, physics-based simulation, and utility software deployment — all while making a tangible impact on the safety and reliability of global power grids.
