- • The Informatics Lead provides advanced analytical support and oversight for Medicaid Prior Authorization (PA) reporting, driving data-driven decision-making for HCPR Risk Management, Medicaid Customer Success, and Medicaid Pharmacy Directors.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and refining data solutions, ensuring data integrity and security, monitoring state-specific reporting guidelines, communicating insights to stakeholders, mentoring junior staff, and overseeing documentation and SOPs for Medicaid PA analytics.
- • The role operates within Humana’s CenterWell Senior Primary Care division, a leading healthcare services business focused on integrated, personalized care for seniors, and contributes to enterprise data governance and operational excellence across Medicaid PA initiatives.
- • The Informatics Lead will deepen expertise in healthcare data analytics, strengthen leadership and mentoring capabilities, and gain influence in shaping data governance practices while supporting regulatory compliance and process improvement at scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, Health Information Management, or a related field.
- • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in data analytics with demonstrated expertise in SQL coding and querying large-scale tables (1 billion+ rows).
- • Proficient in Power BI, including Paginated Reporting and writing DAX queries.
- • Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, and regulatory compliance, particularly within healthcare or Medicaid environments.
- • Excellent communication, organizational, and technical documentation skills.
- • Medicaid reporting experience, specifically in utilization management or prior authorization processes (preferred).
- • Experience working with Databricks for data processing and analytics (preferred).
