- • Lead the end-to-end management of federally mandated institutional reporting, including IPEDS, ensuring full compliance with federal guidelines and timely submission of all required data.
- • Gather, verify, and synthesize institutional data to support accreditation processes for institutional and program-level reviews, including state approvals and other regulatory compliance reporting.
- • Respond to internal and external data requests from stakeholders across the college, preparing clear, accurate, and timely reports to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
- • Document, maintain, and update sources of institutional data across departments, ensuring transparency and traceability of data origins and methodologies.
- • Conduct rigorous data validation to identify and resolve discrepancies, safeguarding data integrity and consistency across all institutional reporting systems.
- • Design, build, and maintain data dashboards to enable benchmarking against peer institutions and track institutional progress toward strategic goals.
- • Support institutional assessment initiatives by designing surveys, analyzing collected data, and interpreting findings to produce actionable recommendations aligned with Berklee’s mission.
- • Collaborate with faculty, administrators, and support staff to understand data needs and translate complex institutional metrics into clear insights for non-technical audiences.
- • Ensure all data handling and reporting practices adhere to the highest standards of confidentiality, especially when managing sensitive student and personnel information.
- • Stay current with evolving federal and state reporting requirements and adapt institutional processes accordingly to maintain compliance and efficiency.
- • Utilize Excel and Google Suite as primary tools for data manipulation, reporting, and visualization, ensuring accurate and professional output for all institutional communications.
- • Apply analytical rigor to manage multiple concurrent deadlines while maintaining meticulous attention to detail in all reporting and analysis tasks.
- • Contribute to continuous improvement of institutional research practices by identifying opportunities for automation, data standardization, and process optimization.
- • Serve as a key liaison between the Office of Institutional Research, Assessment, and Accreditation and other college departments to coordinate data collection and reporting workflows.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–5 years of experience in Institutional Research or a related field with demonstrated familiarity with IPEDS and compliance-related projects
- • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- • Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Suite
- • Experience working with student information systems
- • Knowledge of R, Python, Tableau, or Qualtrics is a significant plus
- • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and handle confidential information with discretion
