- • The Instrumentation Analyst plays a critical role in establishing and maintaining standardized, scalable, and reliable client-side event tracking across RSI’s digital products, enabling trustworthy downstream measurement, reporting, and data activation.
- • The person will define, document, and maintain standardized event tracking specifications; own and manage a centralized, version-controlled event registry; partner with Product, Marketing, and Analytics stakeholders to translate business requirements into structured tracking specifications; collaborate with Engineering to support implementation, deployment, and validation of instrumentation; validate event tracking through QA processes, monitoring, and debugging tools; enforce governance standards related to taxonomy, required fields, naming conventions, and event consistency; own instrumentation intake, prioritization, and change management processes; identify and resolve inconsistencies, duplication, and gaps in event tracking across platforms; support configuration and maintenance of tag management systems, analytics SDKs, and collection tools; and maintain documentation and promote best practices to ensure consistent instrumentation across teams.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Product Management, Library Sciences, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- • 3+ years in digital instrumentation, analytics implementation, QA, or data governance roles.
- • 2+ years of experience working with Product, Marketing, Engineering, or Analytics teams to define tracking requirements.
- • Foundational understanding of event-driven tracking systems, data layers, and client-side instrumentation patterns.
- • Experience validating event tracking in web and mobile environments, including debugging and monitoring tools.
- • Experience maintaining event registries, taxonomies, and enforcing data collection standards.
