📋 Description

• • The IT Applications Administrator at Optro is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring the seamless operation, governance, and optimization of critical business applications across the organization. This position directly supports Optro’s mission as a leading audit, risk, ESG, and InfoSec platform by maintaining the technological backbone that enables productivity, security, and innovation for over 50% of the Fortune 500.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include administering core SaaS platforms such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Atlassian (Jira, Confluence), and Slack; governing enterprise AI tools like Gemini, NotebookLM, Slack AI, and OpenAI; resolving complex application escalations to minimize downtime; managing identity and access controls in coordination with InfoSec; building and maintaining documentation for IT processes; partnering with business stakeholders to implement cross-functional solutions; evaluating and deploying new applications aligned with the IT roadmap; driving FinOps initiatives to optimize SaaS licensing and reduce costs; championing innovation by monitoring emerging SaaS and AI trends; designing and executing autonomous IT workflows such as security assessments for new integrations; managing projects independently with high autonomy; delivering results at the pace required by a fast-growing SaaS organization; and initiating strategic alignment conversations with Security, Engineering, and Finance teams to unblock projects and mature internal systems.
