- • As an IT Operations Engineer at Vanta, you will play a critical role in enabling employees to work securely and efficiently by ensuring reliable access to technology, tools, and support—whether in the San Francisco office or remotely. Your work directly contributes to a seamless employee experience, which supports Vanta’s mission of helping organizations earn and prove trust through strong security practices.
- • You will provide timely, high-quality IT support across time zones, manage onboarding and offboarding logistics including hardware and account provisioning, maintain in-office technology such as AV systems and networking, administer SaaS platforms like Google Workspace and Okta, manage macOS devices via Jamf, document and improve IT workflows for scalability, participate in an on-call rotation for urgent issues, and create clear, user-friendly documentation for internal processes and tools.
- • You will join a small, highly collaborative Corporate Engineering team that values initiative, clear communication, and exceptional customer service. This team partners closely with People, Security, Workplace, and other departments to deliver a secure, reliable, and user-centric tech experience for all Vanta employees, known as Vantans.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise IT operations, identity and access management, endpoint management, and SaaS administration while gaining exposure to fast-scaling, security-focused environments. You’ll have the opportunity to improve processes, influence tooling decisions, and grow into a trusted technology partner across the organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Hands-on experience providing IT support to both in-office and remote employees, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- • Proven experience administering SaaS tools such as Google Workspace and Okta, including user provisioning, access management, and configuration
- • Comfortable supporting and managing macOS devices in a distributed environment, with familiarity in endpoint management tools like Jamf
- • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, approachable language for non-technical users
- • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with shifting priorities, taking initiative and working effectively with minimal oversight
- • Willingness to work in a hybrid schedule requiring 3–4 days per week in the San Francisco office
