Your work ensures business continuity in a fast-paced, global financial technology environment where system reliability is paramount.
  • • You will serve as the primary point of contact for end-user technical issues, delivering first- and second-line support with professionalism and urgency, managing incidents and service requests within SLA targets, and escalating complex problems to appropriate teams while maintaining clear communication and thorough documentation.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include provisioning, configuring, and maintaining workstations, laptops, VDIs, mobile devices, printers, AV equipment, and telephone systems; installing and relocating hardware as needed; applying OS and software patches to ensure endpoint security and compliance; managing corporate asset inventory in ITAM systems; creating and updating knowledge base articles to improve team efficiency and user self-service; participating in weekend on-call rotations with clear handover procedures; and performing manual handling tasks such as lifting equipment up to 20kg during desk moves or hardware refreshes.
  • • You will operate within a collaborative, technically proficient IT team that supports a global infrastructure spanning New York, Chicago, London, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Tokyo, contributing to a culture of reliability, proactive problem-solving, and continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • • This role offers the opportunity to deepen expertise in enterprise endpoint management, Microsoft 365 and Windows environments, Active Directory, VMware virtualization, and IT service management practices, while developing strong communication, prioritization, and documentation skills essential for advancement into senior IT or systems administration roles within a leading financial technology firm.

  • • 4+ years’ experience in an IT Support role using technologies relevant to the Corporate Technology stack, including desktop and server virtualisation, VPN solutions, Windows Server administration, and Microsoft 365.
  • • Proven ability to work effectively independently and within a team using own initiative, with excellent communication skills, strong writing and documentation abilities, and the capacity to multitask and shift priorities as needed.
  • • Professionalism to support a 24/7 production environment, including willingness to participate in weekend on-call rotations and work hours necessary to support multiple global jurisdictions (EMEA, APAC, USA).

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Office-based position in Pico’s London office with the opportunity to support users locally and remotely across multiple global regions, fostering collaboration with international teams.
  • • Exposure to a diverse technology stack including Microsoft 365, Windows 11, macOS, Active Directory, VMware, and PowerShell scripting, enabling skill development in enterprise IT environments.
  • • Clear expectations around work arrangements, including occasional travel to other office locations (not regular or frequent), and structured on-call rotation with defined handover procedures to ensure work-life balance.
