Lead Controls Engineer

📋 Description

• • The Lead Controls Engineer will drive design, functionality, and testing of upper-level automated sortation systems, providing technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers while ensuring project success through accurate documentation and adherence to specifications.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include writing and implementing modular PLC code, designing and developing HMIs using platforms like Ignition or FactoryTalk View, implementing control programs to meet customer specifications, reviewing electrical designs, providing as-built drawings, troubleshooting complex controls issues involving I/O, hardware, and software, coordinating with cross-functional teams and vendors, and supporting commissioning and site acceptance testing.
