- • As a Lead Controls Engineer at Automated Logic Corporation (ALC), a brand within Carrier Building Technologies, you will play a crucial role in designing advanced, customer-specific building automation systems that drive energy efficiency and occupant comfort across the UK.
- • Day to day, you will design and program complex building automation systems, develop control algorithms, create technical design documents, develop graphical and text-based interfaces, test systems prior to implementation, and mentor less experienced engineers by leading smaller projects to support their skill development.
- • You will join Automated Logic Corporation, a world leader in building automation and energy solutions with over 40 years of innovation, operating as part of Carrier Global Corporation’s Building Technologies unit, delivering cutting-edge systems to clients worldwide.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in HVAC controls and building automation, master advanced Automated Logic suites and third-party protocols like BACnet and Modbus, grow your leadership abilities by guiding junior engineers, and contribute to high-impact, energy-efficient building projects across the UK.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience in HVAC controls, Building Automation, or a related industry.
- • Proficient with primary functions of building automation system software and associated engineering tools, with preference for Automated Logic suites.
- • Strong working knowledge of complex Automated Logic software, hardware, peripherals, add-ons, and services.
- • Proficient with third-party communication protocols used in building automation, such as BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, LON, N2, etc.
- • Capable of climbing ladders or using lift equipment over 8 feet above grade and lifting items up to 50lbs.
- • Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel across the UK.
