• • As a Live Lesson Moderator for our UK-based Physics teaching team, you will be an integral part of ensuring the seamless delivery of our livestreamed educational content. Your primary responsibility will be to actively participate in the live chat during Physics lessons, providing immediate, subject-related responses to student inquiries. This involves not only addressing academic questions but also ensuring adherence to MyEdSpace's established codes of conduct, fostering a positive and productive learning environment. You will be a crucial point of contact for students, offering real-time support and clarification, thereby enhancing their learning experience and reinforcing the teacher's instruction. This role demands a proactive approach to anticipating student needs and a keen ability to manage the flow of communication within the live session.
• • Beyond subject-matter support, you will play a vital role in assisting teachers by managing the general flow of the live session and addressing any emergent issues. This includes providing real-time support to teachers, helping them maintain focus on delivering the lesson content without disruption. A key aspect of your day-to-day will involve assisting students with basic technical difficulties or access problems they might encounter during live sessions. This could range from login issues to audio-visual problems, requiring you to guide students through simple troubleshooting steps. Your ability to remain calm and provide clear, concise instructions under pressure will be essential in resolving these issues swiftly and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to the learning process. You will be expected to moderate a minimum of three one-hour sessions per week, contributing directly to the educational outcomes of our students.
