  • • Your leadership will directly impact over 4 million global users, providing them with enhanced value and driving significant margin for the business. This is an opportunity to lead high-visibility projects with a tangible and widespread impact.
  • • This position demands a strong blend of people leadership, exceptional project delivery capabilities, and a proactive approach to cross-functional collaboration. You will be instrumental in fostering a high-performing engineering culture, mentoring and developing your team members, and ensuring they have the resources and support needed to excel.
  • • You will work in close partnership with a Principal Engineer, who will be your counterpart focusing on technical architecture and system design. Together, you will ensure the team consistently delivers scalable, high-quality, and robust solutions that meet the evolving needs of our members and business objectives.
  • • Your responsibilities will include guiding the team through the entire software development lifecycle, from ideation and planning to development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. • • The Marketplace is a dynamic and rapidly evolving product. You will play a crucial role in its strategic direction, contributing to the product roadmap and ensuring the engineering team's efforts are aligned with the company's overall vision and goals.
  • • You will be responsible for identifying and addressing technical debt, ensuring the long-term maintainability and scalability of the platform. This includes making informed decisions about technology choices, system architecture, and development processes.
  • • Empowering your team to take ownership of their work, encouraging problem-solving, and celebrating successes will be central to your leadership style. You will create an environment where engineers feel motivated, challenged, and valued.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on a product used by millions worldwide, contributing directly to Achievers' mission of inspiring employee engagement and recognition. You will lead a team that is passionate about building innovative solutions and delivering exceptional user experiences.
  • • You will be involved in the recruitment and onboarding of new engineering talent, helping to grow and strengthen the team with individuals who align with Achievers' values and technical standards.
  • • Ultimately, your success will be measured by the team's ability to consistently deliver high-quality software, drive innovation in the Marketplace experience, and foster a motivated and high-performing engineering team.
  • • You will contribute to the strategic planning and execution of the Marketplace roadmap, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with business objectives.
  • • This role requires a leader who can balance strategic thinking with tactical execution, ensuring that the team is not only building the right things but also building them right.
  • • You will be a key advocate for engineering best practices, including code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and robust monitoring, ensuring the reliability and performance of the Marketplace.
  • • You will foster a culture of psychological safety, where team members feel comfortable taking risks, sharing ideas, and learning from failures.
