- • Lead and manage a technical team focused on SAP FI (ECC & S/4 HANA CFIN) systems, ensuring alignment with GTS and business objectives through strategic planning, operational oversight, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- • Provide daily direction to the team, address and navigate complex technical issues, anticipate and prevent impending problems, and solve challenges beyond individual team member scope to achieve optimal outcomes while consistently meeting commitments with minimal direction.
- • Partner with deliverable stakeholders to communicate technical impediments, updates, and progress related to timelines and SLAs, and drive incremental and step-function change within technical groups and adjacencies to support business transformation.
- • Engage in planning to meet operational, daily, and quarterly goals; plan and execute department-level technical projects; determine and develop best technical practices in relation to business procedures; identify and mitigate operational and strategic risks.
- • Remain current on new technology and methods to ensure state-of-the-art, cost-effective solutions; coordinate training to ensure departmental staff have appropriate skill sets; maintain effective communications across technical functional areas and externally as needed; monitor expenses to ensure costs remain within established levels.

- • The successful candidate will gain deep expertise in leading large-scale SAP S/4HANA Central Finance transformations, strengthen leadership in global, multi-vendor environments, and develop strategic influence in shaping enterprise finance technology roadmap while contributing to VSP’s commitment to innovation, equity, and employee growth.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- • Minimum of 3 years of management experience with responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work, and managing the performance of direct reports
- • Comprehensive knowledge of the primary technology area, preferably within a healthcare environment
- • Deep experience with SAP S/4HANA, Central Finance, MDG, and Finance data replication
- • Proven leadership of large‑scale SAP S/4 CFIN/Finance transformation programs
- • Strong understanding of data architecture, ETL processes, and enterprise integration platforms
