• • The Managing Engineer (Java/Spring) leads an engineering team responsible for building and operating mission-critical compensation platforms that support enterprise sales strategy and revenue growth at Allstate.
• • Day to day, the role involves leading and coaching a globally distributed engineering team, guiding technical design and delivery of Java-based backend services using Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Kafka, and relational databases, partnering with Product, Finance, and Audit teams to ensure compliant delivery, and overseeing production readiness and operational stability.
• • The role sits within Enterprise Shared Services in ATS at The Allstate Corporation, a company with over 90 years of innovation in protecting families through advancements in pricing, telematics, and identity protection, operating in a highly regulated environment requiring SOX compliance.
