📋 Description
- • As a Market Data Analyst in the Metals & Minerals sector at Kpler, you will take full ownership of data quality and operations for ferrous and non-ferrous metals, solid fuels, and industrial minerals, transforming raw data into actionable market intelligence that empowers clients to make informed decisions in complex global markets.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring and validating live data feeds, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across sources, identifying and resolving data anomalies, and serving as the technical bridge between raw data inputs and the analytical outputs used by clients worldwide.
- • You will join Kpler’s expanding Dry Bulk business unit, a fast-growing team within a global organization of over 700 experts from 35+ countries, dedicated to simplifying trade information and delivering top-tier insights in commodities, energy, and maritime sectors since 2014.
- • In this role, you will develop leadership skills by overseeing 1–2 junior analysts, deepen your expertise in metals and minerals markets, and gain end-to-end visibility into how data drives strategic decision-making — positioning you for growth into senior analytical or managerial roles within Kpler’s data-driven ecosystem.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience working with financial, commodity, or market data, particularly in metals, minerals, or related sectors
- • Strong analytical skills with the ability to validate, interpret, and troubleshoot complex data sets
- • Proficiency in data tools such as Excel, SQL, or similar platforms for data manipulation and quality assurance
- • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high data integrity standards
- • Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- • Experience or interest in mentoring or guiding junior team members
