Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Serve as the primary scientific expert and clinical educator for ArteraAI’s groundbreaking prostate-cancer prognostic and predictive test across the Eastern & Midwestern United States, owning the end-to-end scientific relationship with academic centers, large community oncology networks, urology groups, and integrated-delivery systems.
- • Translate robust Level 1B evidence—derived from multi-institutional prospective and retrospective cohorts—into clear, clinically actionable insights that help physicians individualize treatment decisions for localized prostate-cancer patients.
- • Design and deliver high-impact educational programs (virtual and in-person grand rounds, tumor-board presentations, CME symposia, and 1:1 scientific exchanges) that demystify AI-driven biomarker science and demonstrate how the ArteraAI Prostate Test improves risk stratification, reduces overtreatment, and optimizes patient quality of life.
- • Cultivate long-term, peer-to-peer relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), high-volume clinicians, and society stakeholders, positioning yourself as a trusted scientific partner rather than a traditional sales representative.
- • Synthesize real-world evidence needs from the field and collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Clinical Affairs, Biostatistics, and Regulatory to shape future biomarker pipelines, clinical-trial designs, and health-economic models.
- • Provide timely, compliant scientific support for investigator-initiated studies (IIS), compassionate-use requests, and external collaborative research proposals, ensuring alignment with Artera’s strategic priorities and regulatory standards.
- • Continuously monitor the competitive landscape, congress abstracts, and peer-reviewed literature to anticipate scientific objections, refine messaging, and maintain the company’s reputation for evidence-based leadership in precision urologic oncology.
- • Partner with Medical Affairs Operations to maintain an accurate CRM database of scientific engagements, insights, and follow-up actions, enabling data-driven territory planning and transparent internal communication.
- • Represent Artera at major urology and oncology congresses (AUA, ASCO-GU, ASTRO, SUO), delivering podium presentations, moderating satellite symposia, and hosting advisory boards that showcase the clinical utility and health-economic value of the ArteraAI Prostate Test.
- • Mentor junior MSL colleagues and cross-train commercial counterparts on core scientific concepts, ensuring consistent, compliant communication across all customer-facing teams.
- • Contribute to publication strategy by identifying compelling case studies, real-world datasets, and KOL co-authorship opportunities that expand the evidence base and support peer-reviewed dissemination.
- • Champion patient-centricity by translating complex AI outputs into empathetic, understandable language for multidisciplinary tumor boards, ultimately empowering clinicians to deliver personalized, guideline-concordant care.
- • Navigate diverse health-system environments—from NCI-designated academic centers to regional community hospitals—adapting scientific narratives to the unique needs of radiation oncologists, urologists, medical oncologists, pathologists, and payers.
- • Leverage advanced data-visualization tools to create compelling scientific leave-behinds, interactive dashboards, and digital resources that reinforce key messages and facilitate clinical decision-making long after each engagement.
🎯 Requirements
- • Advanced clinical or scientific degree (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent) with 3+ years of MSL or comparable field-medical experience in oncology, urology, or diagnostics.
- • Demonstrated ability to interpret and communicate Level 1B evidence, including prospective randomized data, large retrospective cohorts, and real-world evidence studies.
- • Strong network within the Eastern & Midwestern US urology/oncology communities and a track record of productive KOL engagements.
- • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to distill complex AI and biomarker science into clinically relevant narratives for diverse audiences.
- • Willingness to travel up to 60% within the territory and to national congresses as needed.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Fully remote, flexible work environment with quarterly in-person team summits in premier US locations.
- • Competitive base salary plus annual performance bonus and equity participation in a high-growth precision-medicine company.
- • Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and mental-wellness coverage starting day one, plus 401(k) with generous company match.
