- • As a Member of Technical Staff, Forward Deployed, you will be instrumental in accelerating Vapi’s enterprise growth by directly embedding with key customers to deploy, expand, and productize voice agent solutions at scale. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, customer success, and product innovation, where your technical execution directly fuels revenue growth and market adoption.
- • You will own end-to-end technical delivery for enterprise clients, beginning with onsite deployment of large-scale voice agent implementations within the first 30 days. By day 60, you’ll identify and validate additional use-cases across customer teams, uncovering hidden opportunities for expansion. By day 90, you’ll translate field insights into reusable product features or tools that streamline future deployments, turning bespoke implementations into repeatable, scalable processes.
- • You’ll work closely with Vapi’s founding engineers and product team, operating with high autonomy in a founder-led culture where 70% of the company are previous founders. Your feedback will directly shape the platform’s evolution, ensuring it remains the most configurable and enterprise-ready voice agent solution in the market.

🎯 Requirements
- • Proven technical experience in an early-stage startup environment, preferably in a customer-facing or deployment-focused engineering role
- • Prior experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) or similar role at a company admired for its technical excellence and customer impact
- • Bonus: Founder or co-founder experience, demonstrating ability to build, ship, and iterate products from zero to one
