- • As a Mid-Level Information Management Analyst at USAA, you will steward critical data assets by managing metadata, ensuring data quality, supporting retention and security practices, and upholding compliance with internal policies and external regulations—directly contributing to the organization’s mission of empowering military members and their families through trusted financial services.
- • Day to day, you will identify process improvement opportunities, lead cross-functional discussions on information management consistency, maintain information asset inventories, validate metadata and data quality, develop data quality corrective action plans, manage master and reference data, support compliance assessments, and analyze sensitive data for privacy initiatives while monitoring data SLAs and remediation timelines.
- • You will join USAA’s Information Management team within a mission-driven organization rooted in core values of honesty, integrity, loyalty, and service, serving the military community with best-in-class financial products and advice, where your work ensures data is accurate, secure, and compliant across enterprise systems.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in data governance, metadata management, data quality frameworks, and regulatory compliance while building influence through stakeholder collaboration, process innovation, and leadership in data risk mitigation—positioning you for advancement in information management, data analytics, or data stewardship careers.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Science discipline OR 4 years of related data and analytics or technical experience
- • 4 years of experience in information management practice, business application function, or data delivery
- • Intermediate working SQL knowledge including SQL-based languages
- • Ability to build business knowledge through partnerships at individual contributor and leadership levels
- • Demonstrated skills in understanding and correcting data discrepancies, identifying anomalies, and performing root cause analysis
- • Advanced communication skills with ability to deliver presentations to all levels of management
