- • As a Middle Distillates Research Analyst at Kpler S.A.S., you will play a critical role in analyzing and interpreting market data related to middle distillates—such as diesel, jet fuel, and heating oil—to support strategic decision-making in the global energy and commodities markets.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets from shipping, trading, and refinery operations; building and maintaining analytical models to forecast supply-demand trends; producing clear, insightful reports and visualizations for internal and external stakeholders; and collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate complex market dynamics into actionable intelligence.
- • You will join a diverse, international team of over 700 experts across 35+ countries, united by a mission to simplify global trade through innovative data solutions. 🎯 Requirements
- • Strong analytical skills with experience in data manipulation and interpretation
- • Knowledge of energy markets, particularly petroleum products like diesel, jet fuel, or gasoil
- • Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or similar for data analysis
- • Ability to produce clear, concise reports and visualizations for technical and non-technical audiences
- • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field
- • Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus
