📋 Description

• As a Mid-Level Full-Stack Developer at Ruby Labs Ltd., you will play a key role in building, scaling, and improving the company’s QR code generator web SaaS product, directly impacting users worldwide through hands-on development across the full stack.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities include developing complex features using Next.js for the frontend and Node.js with modern frameworks like NestJS or Fastify for the backend, implementing Agile processes, ensuring code quality and performance, and applying comprehensive security measures across application, infrastructure, and data layers.
• You will join a fast-moving, product-focused engineering team at Ruby Labs, a leading tech company creating innovative consumer products in health, education, and entertainment, where collaboration with Product, Design, and fellow engineers is central to delivering scalable and secure solutions.
• This role offers the opportunity to grow within a strong engineering culture by taking ownership of features, refining best practices in testing, caching, and DevOps, and contributing to a live SaaS product used by real users, all while enhancing your expertise in modern full-stack technologies and product-minded engineering.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of commercial experience with Next.js (v14.x/v15.x) on at least two recent projects as the primary frontend framework
• Deep knowledge and 2+ years of hands-on experience with modern Node.js frameworks such as NestJS, Fastify, or Hono, including understanding of architectural trade-offs
• Strong proficiency with PostgreSQL and/or Supabase, including query optimization and schema design
• In-depth practical knowledge of Prisma or Drizzle ORM, including building complex queries and managing migrations
• Profound understanding of caching strategies (in-memory, distributed, CDN) and ability to apply them effectively using tools like Redis
• Full proficiency with Docker and docker-compose for containerizing, managing, and deploying applications
