- • Mobile Engineer (iOS) role at Ruut, a digital coach focused on recovery and running skills using HRV metrics, where you will help develop the product, accelerate delivery, and build systemic solutions in mobile development.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing new iOS features, working on the super-app and new directions, building and improving mobile infrastructure (CI/CD, testing, release processes), implementing observability (logging, crashes, metrics), integrating AI into development workflows, collaborating with product and design teams on technical decisions, optimizing time-to-market via faster releases and A/B tests, and contributing to the structuring and scaling of the iOS team.
- • Ruut is part of Universe Group Ltd, which builds tech businesses turning ideas into global products, with a portfolio serving over 400 million users across 186 countries; the engineering team is a key part of the product, and you’ll work in a startup-like environment with high autonomy and impact.
- • In this role, you can grow into a mobile team lead, gain freedom to use and deeply integrate AI tools, choose your technologies, make independent technical decisions, and have real impact — from idea in the morning to production by evening — while working with a strong, ambitious team of ~18 people.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of experience in iOS/mobile development
- • Strong foundation in Swift, SwiftUI and/or UIKit, async/await or Combine
- • Experience with dependency management (SPM or similar)
- • Experience building or maintaining infrastructure: CI/CD, release automation, Crashlytics/Sentry
- • Experience publishing apps to the App Store and understanding the full release cycle
- • Ability to independently make technical decisions without micromanagement
- • Experience or strong interest in working with AI (tools, agents, automation)
- • Systems thinking: seeing not just the task but its impact on product and business
