- • As a Platform Engineer at Xapo Limited, you will join a fully distributed team of over 130 remote employees across 30+ countries, working to improve and maintain Xapo’s cloud-native platform with a focus on enhancing self-serve functionality and driving automation to empower developers.
- • Day to day, you will maintain and improve the cloud-native platform, expand self-service capabilities for engineering teams, aggressively automate manual processes to reduce toil, ensure platform observability, scalability, and security, monitor infrastructure, and participate in a compensated on-call rotation to guarantee 24/7 service availability.

- • In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with Terraform, AWS, GCP, Docker, GitHub Actions, and observability tools like Coralogix and PagerDuty, while developing skills in infrastructure as code, CI/CD automation, scripting (Python/Bash), and collaborative problem-solving to increase developer velocity and system reliability.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3-5 years of experience in platform engineering with relevant skills
- • Foundational understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), AWS (ECS, RDS, SQS, SNS, VPC, KMS, SM), and GCP (Datastream, Cloud Functions, BigQuery)
- • Experience with containerization (Docker), CI/CD automation (GitHub Actions), and scripting (Python and Bash)
- • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Coralogix or PagerDuty
- • Ability to collaborate effectively, communicate work status clearly, and understand developer needs
