- • The Post Closing Underwriter at CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC plays a critical role in resolving investor-identified loan deficiencies to ensure timely loan purchase and funding, directly supporting the company’s mission as the nation’s top distributed retail mortgage lender.
- • Day to day, the role involves reviewing investor loan deficiencies, analyzing suspense conditions, researching loan files, collaborating with internal and external teams to obtain documentation, preparing formal responses to investors and agencies, monitoring condition reports, and ensuring compliance with agency and investor guidelines while meeting daily production goals.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in mortgage underwriting, regulatory compliance, and investor relations, while developing advanced problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills in a high-impact, remote position that supports national loan operations.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in mortgage closing and/or post-closing activities
- • Advanced knowledge of regulatory and investor guidelines across various loan programs
- • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- • Skilled at working independently with attention to detail, sound judgment, and decision-making
- • Excellent communication and customer service skills
