- • The Precision Medicine Global Biomarker Lead (GBL) at Amgen is a critical role within the Precision Medicine Unit, responsible for driving biomarker strategies that align with the company’s mission to serve patients with serious illnesses, particularly in cardiovascular disease programs.
- • Day to day, the GBL will lead the development and execution of clinical biomarker strategies for pharmacodynamics, target engagement, and patient stratification across Phase 1 to Phase 3 trials; collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external partners; oversee assay readiness, vendor management, and biomarker data generation; and contribute to drafting and reviewing clinical study documents such as protocols, informed consent forms, and clinical study reports.

🎯 Requirements
- • Doctorate degree (PhD, PharmD, or MD) with 2+ years of relevant research experience OR Master’s degree with 5+ years OR Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of relevant research experience
- • Strong expertise in cardiovascular disease and biomarker research
- • Experience leading and integrating cross-functional and technical teams
- • Experience overseeing vendors/CROs for biomarker assays and sample operations
- • Demonstrated proficiency in solving complex problems and driving successful implementation of team objectives
