- • As the Principal Competitive Intelligence and Technical Product Marketing Manager at Delinea, you will be the driving force behind our strategic positioning in the dynamic identity security market. - • This is a high-impact, individual contributor position situated at the critical nexus of Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing. You will be entrusted with the end-to-end ownership of our competitive intelligence function. This includes not only gathering and analyzing competitive data but also translating those insights into actionable strategies and compelling narratives. Furthermore, you will serve as a trusted technical authority, providing crucial guidance for strategic deals, new product launches, and overall market positioning efforts.
- • A core responsibility will be to define and continuously evolve Delinea's fundamental "why we win" narrative. This involves dissecting our product architecture, understanding its intricate capabilities, and translating these complex technical elements into clear, concise, and differentiated messaging that resonates with our target audience. You will be expected to anticipate objections and proactively address them through strategic messaging.
- • You will lead comprehensive competitive analysis initiatives, including threat assessments and the development of robust positioning strategies. This involves staying ahead of market trends, understanding competitor strategies, and identifying Delinea's key differentiators. The insights generated will directly inform our go-to-market strategies and product development priorities.
- • A significant part of your role will involve developing and maintaining essential sales enablement tools, such as battlecards, competitive playbooks, and win/loss analysis reports. These resources will empower our sales force with actionable intelligence, enabling them to effectively counter competitor claims, highlight Delinea's strengths, and confidently navigate complex sales cycles. You will also conduct thorough win/loss analysis to uncover systemic opportunities for improvement across product, marketing, and sales functions.
- • You will provide critical competitive and technical guidance to support strategic, high-value deals. This involves working closely with sales teams to understand deal-specific challenges, tailor messaging, and provide expert insights that can tip the scales in Delinea's favor. Your ability to simplify complex technical concepts and articulate their business value will be paramount in these situations.
- • Collaboration with the Product Management team is essential. You will act as a key feedback loop, providing market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer needs derived from your analysis to inform product roadmap decisions. This ensures that Delinea's product strategy remains aligned with market demands and competitive realities, fostering continuous innovation and market leadership.

🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of experience in Technical Marketing, Product Marketing, Competitive Intelligence, or closely related fields within the cybersecurity or enterprise software industry.
- • Demonstrated strong technical fluency, with a proven ability to understand, simplify, and articulate complex technical concepts and product capabilities into clear, compelling messaging for diverse audiences.
- • Proven experience supporting enterprise sales cycles, including developing sales enablement materials and providing direct technical and competitive guidance to sales teams.
- • Exceptional analytical rigor, with a demonstrated ability to conduct in-depth market and competitive research, synthesize findings, and translate them into actionable strategic recommendations.
- • Ability to operate independently, take initiative, and thrive in a high-ownership, fast-paced, and results-oriented environment.
