📋 Description

• As a Principal, Data Analyst at DEPT Holding B.V., you will partner with ambitious brands to shape business and data strategy by applying quantitative frameworks to solve complex problems through analysis, data mining, predictive modeling, and business forecasting.
• Your day-to-day will involve leading data projects from RFP/SOW/BRD to delivery, including requirements gathering, data architecture, ETL, governance, reporting, visualization, and presenting insights to stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Finance.
• You’ll join a collaborative, purpose-driven team at DEPT® — a Growth Invention company operating at the intersection of technology and marketing — where values like ‘better together,’ ‘relentlessly curious,’ and ‘get sh*t done’ drive innovation for clients like Google, Lufthansa, Coach, eBay, and OpenAI.
• In this role, you’ll deepen your expertise in scalable data pipelines, mentorship, and client impact while advancing your ability to translate data into compelling narratives that drive tactical and strategic decisions.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of applied analytics in sales, finance, marketing, product, or engineering
• 5+ years of experience assessing client data portfolios, tools, and applications
• 3+ years of data management and consulting experience
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for deploying analytics solutions
• Strong working knowledge of SQL; NoSQL is a plus
• Proficiency in at least one language for applied statistics or machine learning (Python, R, Matlab, SPSS)
• Ability to manage a full data ecosystem including ETL, data governance, reporting, and insights
• Interest in mentoring junior colleagues on analysis, deliverables, client communication, and management skills
