- • Join Twilio as a Principal Presales Engineer, a pivotal role shaping the future of communications for hundreds of thousands of businesses worldwide. This position is ideal for a technically adept professional with strong executive relationship-building skills, ready to deliver technical wins and ensure product fit for our strategic accounts across the APJ region, with a particular focus on Mandarin-speaking customers.
- • As a Twilio Communications Solutions Engineer, you will be instrumental in building customer trust in Twilio’s Customer Engagement Platform. You will lead the technical pre-sales engagement, architecting innovative solutions, delivering compelling product demonstrations, proactively addressing customer concerns, and crafting creative responses to complex communication and customer engagement challenges.
- • You will collaborate closely with Twilio Strategic and New Business Account Executives, fellow Solutions Engineers, Professional Services teams, and Twilio Partners. Your involvement will span the entire pre-sales process, from strategic planning to deal execution, ensuring a cohesive and successful approach.
- • Your responsibilities will include actively participating in qualification calls, conducting in-depth discovery sessions, delivering impactful product demonstrations, managing Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs), responding to RFPs, creating detailed design documentation, and conducting technical presentations and enablement sessions throughout the sales cycle.
- • A key aspect of this role is developing deep subject matter expertise on customer needs and requirements, alongside a thorough understanding of Twilio’s cutting-edge communications technology. This expertise will enable you to effectively articulate how Twilio can drive customer success and solve their most pressing business challenges.
- • You will lead technical discovery sessions, employing active listening and insightful questioning to uncover customer pain points and business objectives. Based on this understanding, you will articulate Twilio’s value proposition and demonstrate how our platform can enable their success.
- • Crafting and delivering powerful, complex presentations and product demonstrations will be a core function. You will showcase the full capabilities of Twilio Communications Products in a way that resonates with diverse audiences, from C-level executives to technical decision-makers.
- • You will play a crucial role in supporting key strategic pilot programs and Proof-of-Concept implementations within our largest and most strategic enterprise accounts across the APJ region. This hands-on involvement will be critical in validating Twilio's solutions and driving adoption.
- • This role demands a blend of technical prowess and exceptional communication skills. You should be comfortable engaging with CEOs to present high-level communication strategies and equally adept at sketching out intricate technical flows on a whiteboard with engineering teams.
- • Twilio fosters a remote-first work environment, emphasizing connection, global inclusion, and diverse experiences. As part of this vibrant team, you will contribute to a global impact while continuously acquiring new skills and experiences that make your work feel truly rewarding. Your career growth and development are in your hands.
- • We leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance the efficiency, fairness, and transparency of our hiring process. However, automation never makes the final hiring decision; every candidate is evaluated by real Twilions, ensuring a human-centric approach at every stage.
- • The Principal Presales Engineer will be a trusted advisor, guiding customers through their digital transformation journey by leveraging Twilio's robust platform to enhance their customer engagement strategies. This involves understanding their existing technology stack and identifying opportunities for seamless integration and innovation.
- • You will be expected to stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in the communications and cloud technology landscape, bringing this knowledge to bear in your customer engagements and solution designs.
- • This role requires a proactive and self-motivated individual who can manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will be empowered to take initiative, solve complex problems, and contribute to the overall success of the sales team and our customers.
- • The ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-oriented language is paramount. You will be responsible for ensuring that customers understand the value and ROI of implementing Twilio solutions.
- • You will contribute to the internal knowledge base by documenting best practices, common customer challenges, and successful solution architectures, thereby enabling the broader presales and sales teams.
- • This is an opportunity to be at the forefront of communication innovation, working with a leading platform that empowers businesses to connect with their customers in more meaningful and effective ways.
