- • As a Product Analyst at Spellbook Legal Inc., you will build a single source of truth for product metrics and partner closely with Product and Engineering to translate ambiguous questions into crisp analysis, dashboards, and recommendations that drive product decisions.
- • Day to day, you will own the measurement foundation by establishing and evolving core product metric definitions (activation, engagement, retention), enable self-serve analytics through blueprints and standards, analyze funnels and user journeys to identify drop-offs, conduct cohort and experimentation analysis, and create actionable dashboards and narratives for stakeholders.
- • You will join a fast-growing AI-powered legal tech company backed by top-tier investors like Khosla Ventures and Thomson Reuters Ventures, serving over 4,000 law firms and in-house teams with its AI copilot for contract work inside Microsoft Word.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in SaaS product analytics, strengthen your ability to influence product roadmaps through data, master modern analytics tooling and metric governance, and gain end-to-end ownership of how data shapes product outcomes in a high-impact, remote-first environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years in product analytics, product data, or data analytics in a SaaS product environment
- • Strong SQL skills including complex joins, nested/event-shaped data, and ability to sanity-check results
- • Experience with user analytics tooling (e.g., Mixpanel or Amplitude) for dashboarding, reporting, and partnering with Engineering on instrumentation
- • Experience defining core SaaS metrics and building durable, trusted reporting systems
- • Experience partnering with Product and Engineering to influence roadmap or execution
- • Strong analytical toolkit and technical fluency with event data, data modelling, and engineering collaboration
- • Exceptional communication skills to explain findings to executives and individual contributors and influence without authority
