- • The Product Marketing Director will play a pivotal role in extending the capabilities of the Go-to-Market (GTM) and Product teams. This strategic position involves active participation in GTM strategy formulation, product planning, successful product launches, and crucially, integrating "voice of customer" insights directly into the product and market development lifecycle. The Director will be instrumental in crafting and executing comprehensive product marketing strategies designed to ensure the success of AKASA's innovative products within the competitive market landscape.
- • Key responsibilities will include developing and refining product positioning, crafting compelling messaging, and defining launch strategies tailored to specific customer segments. This will be deeply informed by rigorous customer research, comprehensive market insights, and a thorough understanding of AKASA's product offerings. This analysis will be grounded in comprehensive market intelligence, an awareness of industry developments, and in-depth competitive analysis. The insights gained will be used to develop effective sales battle cards and ensure that competitive intelligence is continuously updated within the CRM (Salesforce) in close partnership with the sales team.
- • The Product Marketing Director will lead and drive the planning and execution of product launches, including the crucial evaluation and communication of launch success metrics. This involves defining key performance indicators and ensuring that launch outcomes align with strategic objectives.
- • The role also entails planning and leading product discussions within customer convening events and customer advisory boards. Building and nurturing trusted relationships with key customers will be essential for gathering valuable feedback on product development concepts and for evaluating new products and features, ensuring AKASA remains aligned with market needs.
- • Furthermore, the Director will provide strategic direction and content support for product-related events, public relations initiatives, and social media campaigns. This will be done in close collaboration with other members of the Marketing team to ensure a cohesive approach and a well-defined measurement plan for all marketing activities.
- • Finally, the Director will be responsible for developing and supporting marketing campaigns aimed at generating demand, building product awareness, and driving lead generation. This includes crafting compelling messaging, developing relevant content, and creating necessary assets in close collaboration with the broader marketing team, ensuring alignment with overall GTM strategies.
