  • • As the first Product Marketing Manager at SigNoz, you will define and sharpen how the open-source observability platform is positioned against competitors, crafting messaging that resonates with technical audiences like DevOps, SRE, and Platform Engineers, as well as economic buyers such as VPs of Engineering and CTOs.
  • • You will own the end-to-end go-to-market motion for product launches, including naming, narrative development, launch sequencing across docs, community, social, and sales, while partnering closely with product and engineering teams to align on roadmap context.
  • • You will create and oversee technical content such as battle cards, comparison pages, solution briefs, and launch narratives, writing the first draft and ensuring it enables sales and customer success teams effectively.
  • • You will turn satisfied customers into advocates by owning case studies, reference programs, and customer stories, identifying opportunities for co-marketing and building a scalable customer marketing engine.
  • • You will conduct continuous win/loss analysis and customer interviews to refine ideal customer profiles, buyer journeys, and persona research, translating insights into sharper segmentation, talk tracks, nurture campaigns, and landing page copy.
  • • You will own SigNoz’s website as a core marketing asset, driving copy, messaging hierarchy, and page structure in collaboration with design and engineering, running experiments to improve trial signups, docs-to-product conversion, and self-serve activation.
  • • You will track and optimize the full funnel—from awareness to trial—partnering with growth and product to identify drop-off points, define MQL/PQL criteria, and build campaigns that move key metrics.
  • • You will maintain competitive intelligence on the observability landscape, tracking pricing, feature releases, and adoption trends to build and update battle cards that sales and customer success teams can use in the field.
  • • You will report directly to the founders, working in a flat, remote-first structure with product, engineering, sales, and community teams, where your work ships quickly and feedback loops are tight.
  • • You will help define the product marketing function from day one at a fast-moving, investor-backed startup at the forefront of the open-source + OpenTelemetry-native observability wave.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 4–8 years of product marketing experience, with preference for candidates who have marketed products to technical audiences.
  • • Exceptional writing ability, capable of translating technical changelogs into compelling homepage headlines and other marketing copy within the same workday.
  • • Proven track record of conducting competitive analysis that directly influenced how the sales team positioned and sold the product.
  • • Comfortable with ambiguity and enthusiasm for the 'figure it out' mindset required in a fast-moving startup environment as the first PMM.
  • • Data-driven approach to decision-making, using metrics to improve funnels, product-led growth (PLG) performance, and buyer journey optimization.
