- • As an Inbound Product Marketing Manager at Avanath Capital Management, LLC, you will be at the forefront of understanding market dynamics, client needs, and competitive landscapes to shape product strategy and drive successful go-to-market initiatives. This role is designed for an individual with a profound passion for dissecting buyer behaviors, market trends, and competitive intelligence, with a proven ability to translate these insights into actionable strategies.
- • You will be instrumental in leading comprehensive market and competitive intelligence efforts for your assigned product portfolio. This involves continuous research, analysis, and synthesis of information to provide a clear picture of the external environment, enabling informed decision-making across the organization.
- • A key responsibility will be to design, execute, and continuously refine the win/loss program. This program will go beyond simply collecting data; it will focus on extracting deep insights from sales outcomes and client interactions, transforming them into clear, actionable recommendations that can be implemented to improve product positioning and sales effectiveness.
- • You will be tasked with developing and maintaining robust buyer personas, Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), and detailed customer journey maps. These artifacts will serve as foundational tools for understanding our target audience, their motivations, pain points, and how they interact with our products and services throughout their lifecycle.
- • A critical aspect of this role involves close collaboration with the Product Management team. You will act as a strategic partner, influencing roadmap priorities, product packaging, and key differentiation strategies by providing essential market and customer insights.
- • You will actively support and lead client research initiatives, which may include conducting interviews, deploying surveys, and performing in-depth analysis of customer feedback. This direct engagement with clients is crucial for gathering qualitative and quantitative data that informs product development and marketing efforts.
- • As an internal advocate for the client, you will ensure that customer insights are consistently represented and integrated into the overall product strategy, messaging, and go-to-market plans. Your voice will be essential in championing the customer's perspective within the company.
- • You will be responsible for delivering concise, impactful, and actionable insights to various stakeholders, including Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales, and Executive leadership. The ability to distill complex information into clear recommendations is paramount.
- • This role also requires flexibility and a proactive approach to support evolving priorities and cross-functional initiatives. You will contribute to advancing product marketing objectives and achieving broader business outcomes as needed, demonstrating a commitment to the company's success.
- • Success in this role will be measured by how effectively product decisions are informed by market and customer insights, leading to sharper, more relevant competitive narratives that are actively utilized by the sales team. It will also be evident in how frequently Product Managers and senior leaders seek out your perspective for strategic guidance, and how consistently the insights you generate translate into tangible improvements in product roadmaps and go-to-market plans.
- • The ideal candidate will possess a deep-seated curiosity about buyers, markets, and competitive dynamics, coupled with a proven track record in market analysis, win-loss programs, and competitive research. Strong project management skills are essential for managing multiple concurrent projects effectively. You should be comfortable and confident in presenting your findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders, demonstrating clear written and verbal communication skills. Experience in SaaS environments is preferred, and prior experience within nonprofit or association sectors is strongly desired. Proficiency with tools such as Salesforce, Asana, Aha!, Klue, Clozd, Gong, Pendo, Microsoft Co-Pilot, and HubSpot (or similar platforms) will be highly beneficial.
