- • As the Progress Lead at Stellic, you will own the technical direction of the Degree Progress product, driving the evolution from a search-based system to a SAT solver–driven architecture to ensure students and universities can trust the system’s correctness and reliability.
- • You will lead the Progress team in owning end-to-end Degree Progress systems, partnering with the algorithms lead to integrate solver outputs into user-facing experiences, designing purpose-built testing frameworks for complex degree requirements, and ensuring explainable, reliable outcomes across edge cases.
- • Stellic is a fast-growing, mission-driven edtech startup backed by social impact investors, partnering with top universities like Cornell, Columbia, UVA, and Ohio State to support over 1 million students across 7 countries, with a commitment to transforming student success through clarity and purpose in education.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in scalable backend systems, correctness-critical engineering, and algorithm-to-product integration while mentoring junior engineers, shaping technical culture, and making a lasting impact on higher education infrastructure.
