- • As a Quality Engineer I at Penumbrainc Inc., you will ensure the quality and safety of innovative medical devices that address critical disease states, directly impacting patient safety worldwide.
- • You will provide technical input in design control, support new product launches, and apply your knowledge of the Quality Management System to sustain manufacturing operations and supplier quality.
- • You will identify and drive process improvements, yield enhancements, and cycle time reductions while determining root causes of in-process quality issues.
- • You will work within Penumbra’s collaborative, feedback-rich culture, solving highly technical problems across the product lifecycle from concept to commercialization and continuous improvement.
- • The role is based in Alameda, CA, and involves working in general office, laboratory, and cleanroom environments with potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens and light physical demands.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an engineering or scientific discipline required
- • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment strongly preferred
- • Clear and concise written and oral communication skills required
