- • As a Real Estate Investor — Expert AI Trainer at Mentis Technology Solutions Inc., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of AI systems by translating deep institutional real estate private equity expertise into high-fidelity training data for advanced machine learning models. Your insights will directly influence how AI understands complex investment decisions, risk assessments, and value creation strategies across global real estate markets, bridging the gap between human expertise and artificial intelligence in one of the most data-rich yet nuanced asset classes.
- • You will collaborate remotely with an elite AI research team to analyze, annotate, and validate real-world real estate investment scenarios, focusing on acquisitions, underwriting, asset management, and fund-level analytics. This includes reviewing deal structures, modeling outputs, and investment theses to teach AI how top-tier REPE professionals evaluate opportunities, structure transactions, and manage assets across the full spectrum of property types and risk profiles.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve providing expert feedback on AI-generated real estate financial models, including DCF analyses, waterfall distributions, development proformas, and return attribution methodologies; assessing the accuracy and realism of AI-generated investment memos and underwriting assumptions; identifying gaps in AI reasoning related to debt structuring, joint venture agreements, and LP reporting standards; and curating or validating case studies across multifamily, office, industrial, hospitality, and retail assets under core, value-add, and opportunistic strategies.
- • You will participate in asynchronous sprints and feedback loops, dedicating a minimum of 15 hours per week to review AI outputs, provide structured expert commentary, and engage in iterative training cycles that refine model performance. This role requires critical thinking, precision, and the ability to articulate nuanced investment judgment in a format usable by machine learning engineers and AI researchers.
- • You will join a mission-driven team founded by former Lazard and Partners Group professionals, headquartered in London and San Francisco, dedicated to embedding real-world financial intelligence into AI systems. 🎯 Requirements
- • 3–8 years of experience in institutional real estate private equity, with a background at firms such as Blackstone Real Estate, Brookfield Asset Management, Starwood Capital, or Lone Star Funds
- • Associate or VP-level experience in acquisitions or asset management within the real estate sector
- • Strong proficiency in real estate financial modeling, including DCF, waterfall structures, development proformas, and return attribution analysis
- • Experience across multiple asset classes (multifamily, office, industrial, hospitality, retail) and investment risk profiles (core, value-add, opportunistic)
- • Familiarity with debt structuring, joint venture documentation, and LP reporting practices in private equity real estate
- • Minimum commitment of 15 hours per week, available for remote asynchronous work
