- • Originate and manage purchase mortgage loans from application through closing while ensuring full compliance with all regulatory and company requirements.
- • Convert Zillow-provided purchase opportunities into funded loans through proactive follow-up, borrower consultation, and timely communication via phone, email, and text.
- • Operate within one of two specialized lending models: a high-volume, lead-driven, phone-based environment or a consultative, market-focused model partnering with Zillow Preferred Agents.
- • Build and maintain strong relationships with borrowers and, where applicable, with local real estate professionals and Zillow Preferred Agents to foster long-term business growth.
- • Manage an active loan pipeline while meeting defined service levels, productivity metrics, and funding targets in a structured, performance-driven environment.
- • Utilize Zillow’s proprietary CRM, loan origination systems (LOS), and data-driven tools to monitor pipeline health, track customer engagement, and optimize workflow efficiency.
- • Collaborate closely with centralized processing, underwriting, and closing teams to ensure seamless loan progression and timely closings.
- • Deliver a consistent, best-in-class customer experience by providing clear, accurate, and timely guidance throughout the mortgage process.
- • Stay current on evolving market trends, lending programs, interest rates, and federal/state regulatory requirements to offer tailored financing solutions.
- • Maintain active NMLS licensing, complete required continuing education, and participate in ongoing professional development to remain compliant and competitive.
- • Collect, store, and use voiceprints (speech recordings) for operational, training, and compliance purposes as part of standard business practices.
- • Work remotely from a principal place of residence physically located within the state of Kentucky, with optional in-office work at company locations.
- • Adhere to all company policies, including those related to data security, communication standards, and ethical lending practices.
- • Demonstrate strong time management, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks across multiple active loan files simultaneously.
- • Proficiently use Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, and Excel to manage documentation, correspondence, and reporting.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of mortgage origination experience with a strong emphasis on purchase transactions, either as an active NMLS Loan Originator with state licenses or as a Loan Originator under a federal bank license.
- • Completion of the 20-hour CORE Pre-Licensing Education and successful passage of the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Test – National Component with Uniform State Content.
- • Physically located in and working remotely from the state of Kentucky.
- • Proven success originating purchase loans in either a high-volume, phone-based sales environment or an agent-centric referral model.
- • Strong client service orientation with consultative sales skills and deep understanding of the mortgage process.
- • Comfortable working in a structured, performance-driven environment with clearly defined KPIs.
